God Created Us For His Pleasure And More ~

God had some very specific things in mind when He created us. He formed us for His purposes and left nothing out that He intended. He fulfilled what He set out to do ~

We were created for God's pleasure:

Revelation 4:11 KJV says,
"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created."

We were made to seek Him:

Psalm 52:2 NIV says,
God looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek Him."

We were intended to love Him:

Mark 12:30 NIV says,
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength."

We were created to become like His Son, Jesus Christ:

Romans 8:29 MSG says,
"God knew what He was doing from the very beginning, He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love Him along the same lines as the life of His Son. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in Him."

We were formed for God's family:
Romans 12:4 says,
"In this way we are like the various parts of a human body. Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we're talking about is Christ's body of chosen people."

We were shaped to serve God:
Ephesian's 2:10 TNIV says,
"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

We were made to fulfill God's mission:
Matthew 28:19 NIV says,
"Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

We were formed to have eternity in our hearts:
Ecclesiastes 3:11 NAS says,
"He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end."

We are uniquely made and are of great value in God's eyes!
